    How to Pay for Civil ID in Kuwait

    Civil ID is a mandatory document for all individuals living in Kuwait. If you are visiting Kuwait for the first time, you need to have an ID. Similarly, if you are a citizen of Kuwait, you need an ID to perform specific tasks even then.

    However, this ID is not free of charge. You need to make a payment through the PACI Kuwait Civil ID website. So, if you are new and have not previously made payments, this article will discuss each payment step.

    So let us get started with the procedure for making online payments for your civil ID in Kuwait.

    Fee Structure:

    The Civil Information Authority charges KD 5 for electronic chip ID renewal. However, if you apply for a non-electronic chip card, you need to pay just KD 2.

    In addition to civil ID issuance or renewal, you must make fines, driving license, passport, and other payments on the PACI web portal.

    How to Pay for Civil ID in Kuwait Steps

    The payment process is simple and standard. If you had previously made any online payments, this is a walk in the park. However, if this is your first time, you need to worry. Just follow the below steps and effortlessly make your payment.

    Step 1: Go directly to the PACI website or the Kuwait Government Online portal.

    Step 2: Click the E-SERVICES link on the PACI website.

    Step 3: By default, the language is Arabic; you can easily switch it to English by clicking on the language icon in the top left corner.

    Step 4: Click the Fee Payment Services.

    Step 5: Enter your Civil ID No. in the box and press the Submit button.

    Step 6: It will reveal a list of amounts outstanding against your civil ID.

    Step 7: Once satisfied, click the Pay button.

    Step 8: A new bank-related form will open, select your bank, enter your card number, expiration date, and PIN, and click the Submit button.

    Step 9: A new page will open requesting you to confirm the payment details. Click the Confirm button to proceed further.

    Step 10: After payment is successful, you will receive a receipt. You can either save the receipt in document form or print it in hard format.
